How to update physical inventories

  1. Physical inventories

    1. Go to “physical inventory “work center

    2. Select “New logistics area count “

  1. Fill mandatory fields with required information

    1. Storage ID (the name of the DC )

    2. Cost center. logistics or repair depends on the location to update

    3. Select All locations to pick from

  1. On the same page, scroll down to select the logistics areas that you wish to count from the list of locations

  2. Then click next to go the second page

  1. You can either assign an individual to do the physical count

  2. Then create on “ Finish” to create the count

  1. The status will change to confirmation

  2. You get the ID for the task created and then close

You will use the task ID to search for the task and execute

The next step is to execute created task of performing a physical count

  1. Go to physical inventory work center

  2. Select task control

  1. A list of all tasks will appear , this will include open tasks , completed , etc..

    1. You can search by the task number

    2. or status

You will get to the screen with the selected task then click on confirm

  1. A list of all items sitting in the selected location will appear

    1. You can input manually the quantity counted per item, the system will not show expected quantity

  2. Then click on “Finish all items” to submit the count

You then get the confirmation message

The next step if for the warehouse manager to approve the count: To approve the count you go to:

  1. Physical inventory work center

  2. Select “ By PI count document

  3. In the search field “ search by PI count in process”

You select, PI (Physical inventory) count in the process

  1. Click on “Line items” tab

  2. You can view the details of a submitted count

    1. You can see the value and quantity difference between what the expected quantity was and submitted quantity

  3. Then click on “Approve count “

  4. You get the confirmation message, and the entries are saved
