CSCC: Correct Customer Serial Number
There are cases where a control unit serial number that the customer has in their possession is different from the serial number that we have for them in the database. In the event that this occurs, the customer will have to be contacted to confirm the serial number that they actually have so this can be corrected.
Under CSCC module select 'Correct Customer Serial Number'.
A window like the one above will open. Select a customer from the drop-down list; if desired customer is not seen type in their customer id and name will start to appear.
Once you have selected the customer their information will appear including personal details, state and shop that they are assigned to.
You will also see the current serial number that the database has for the customer. Fill in the confirmed correct serial number in the New serial number field below the old one. Finish by clicking the red 'Correct SN' button.
Please note once this is done you will not see any confirmation message, but the window will close.
