Record a repossession
This documentation will walk you through the process of recording the pending repossession.
The roles that may have this access are:
Admin
Sales
Field Technician
Field Management
Back Office Management
Call Centre Basic
Call Center Advanced
We record repossession when a customer is defaulted, the system triggers the repossession action automatically and records the pending action.
Step1: To navigate pending record repossession
On the customer page, click the Go to account details in the transaction under Accounts.
At the bottom of the page , A pending action for the repossession will be available:
Step2: Fill in the repossession details:
Date of repo
Staff who did the repo
Provide the CU No.
The condition in which the return products are in
Step3: Update the returned product quantity:
Update the repossessed/returned qty. If the number is less than the given qty, the difference will be marked as lost.
The repossed quantity should be a positive intiger (number) and cannot be greater than the Qty number
And click on Save to submit the repossession form.
Step4: Using Actions to Sort Pending Repossession
Alternatively, you can record or confirm the repossession by using the 9-dot menu, selecting actions, and filtering with the action type "Pending Repossession”:
If you want to see all pending repossessions for a specific fulfillment center, simply choose "fulfillment center" in the select criteria.
Then select the customer who must record the repossession.
Then click Record Repossession:
It will take you to Step2 of the first method:
Step 5: Customer profile updated after recording repossession.
After the repossession is recorded. Some of the information in the customer profile will be updated.
Such as below:
Statuses
Account Status: From Defaulted to Inactive
Contract status: from Active to Terminated
Product Action
Recorded Repossession will be moved to Done.
When a repossessed action is triggered, products from a completed, canceled, and/or void contract, will not be part of the products to be repossessed.
