CU does not turn on after installation

Units were not attached and not changed from Activated to monitored after being installed to customers (System failure):
Possible resolutions such as Fix Installation or Correct Serial Number were not possible because of the system validation that does not allow the change of the Serial number when its value is empty:
For that reason there is another workaround to record the CU, here are a few steps to follow:
Step1: Trigger voluntary repossession:
CMR>Application Sign-up>Search CustomerID
Step2: Record repossession:
Use a different CU from the one used to install the customer.
In some cases you can record repossession the normal way as if CUs are matching. See attached related tickets at the bottom of this page.
If the above fails, then try record as CUs are not matching:

Step3: Void Repossession:
After recoding the repossession, the CU system controller changed from Other/None to Bboxx SS (SCM/DCM Units) this will help the system to allow the fix installation:
Step4: Cancel pending Repossession:
Step5: Fix installation:
Fix installation on CU because the error will still be there with the below warning:
You remove it by fixing the installation with the CU
Then after the installation, we will have the CU available on the application:
Note: It may take some time for ERP to update Smart Solar for the CU state or ask the Device team to help to changed the state.
