Repair

This module explains well how the Repair Technician can use it to record all the Products needed for repairs

 

Who can perform this task:

Repair Technician and whoever has Repair Technician as the main role

 

Open Pulse> click on 9dots>click on Repairs

You will find Battery Testing &Control Unit and Appliance buttons

 

  • Battery Testing: is used in the Repair Centre where there is a battery recovery process to test the health in terms of the capacity of recovered batteries.

    • Expected result: PASS for a good battery and FAIL for battery out of accepted range

    • When you click on it, you will be asked to provide the Serial Number that a repair Tech wants to test, if you put it on the search button, you will be having to process by clicking on search or you have another option to go back

 

  • Sorting : there are many units in the repair center to pass through the sorting process and they must be ‘in_repair_system' state for SRT to accept the units.

    • Click the sorting button and insert the Serial number of the CU with “in-repair system” state then click next.

    • You need to perform a repair cycle to Record repair - Control unit .Record repair - Control unit

  • If the unit is in ‘monitored' state, don’t proceed the sorting process just keep the unit into the box for the units that are in monitored state.

  • The unit is in ‘lost’ state, send the unit to disposal.

  • The unit is in the state other than these 3 states mentioned above, change the state in to ‘in_repair_system’ state and proceed the sorting process.

  • Control Unit: handle the entire Control unit repair circle. It does two things: Reporting & step by step guide

    • you can click on Control unit and insert the Serial number of the CU that you want to repair >then click on Go

There is also a black arrow up on the right side you click on it when you want to go back to the previous page

 

  • Appliance: A tech that wants to repair any appliance he/she will click on the Appliance button

Once you click on it you will be receiving a new page that has Complete repair & new repair

New repair: this field is used while initiating a brand new repair

Product details: Need to choose any category and appliance type you want to repair

Symptoms and actions: A variety of symptoms will appear and once you click on actions, they will appear you choose according to the issue appliance has.

Process: do the appliance repossessed, replaced, or broken on arrival click on any process accordingly

Arrival date: Specify the arrival date of the appliance to the repair center

Appliance parts configuration: you’re required to click on part replaced and its quantity and parts waiting for spares

Save: you click on save when you want to continue

Clear: when you want to delete all the filled information

All the appliances are there, you will choose any appliance you want to repair

  • After clicking on save, the form will be submitted successfully and the appliance repair ID will be provided and you will use it to complete the repair

  • Once you click on that Button near to circled black arrow you can see the list of the appliances you have selected for the next stage

 

  • Complete Repair: this field is used to resume an incompleted repair that might have been awaiting for spare parts or the repair form was exited for some reason

  • This is the stage that requires the appliance's ID that you have selected to be able to complete their repairing

You insert the Appliance repair ID then click on go

Then you continue the process until you reach the final stage of repair

Note:

  • All CUs are tracked by Serial Numbers

  • Most appliances are not tracked by serial numbers reason why Repair Id is used as the unit identify

  • Appliances: handle reporting of all Bboxx appliances
