SMS: Send an SMS Manually

In Case a customer loses his Customer ID or wants to know specific information which is not in the SMS.

A call supervisor, call operator or a Customer service manager can always send a customer an SMS manually.


For a call operator:

A call operator will use CSCC modules to send an SMS Manually to a customer.

  • Choose CSCC
  • Incoming calls 
  • Choose yes as an answer if it an already existing customer.
  • Search the customer using his customer ID
  • A button create and Send SMS will appear up next to Payg Summary, click on it



  • Mobile number will appear once it is an existing customer
  • Type the message you want to send or if there is an existing template choose.
  • Choose the provider if it is Africas talking or Infobip.
  • Click on send.


NB: this is different to when you want to send a SMS to all customers.
