Raising/Closing Technical issues Between Shops
Problem
Technical issue is raised in one shop, but customer is moved to another shop while the technical issue is still open. If this occurs, the customer's newly assigned shop will not be able to close the issue and this will lead to bigger problems if a replacement is needed as only one technical issue can be opened at a time.
Solution
It is strongly advised to make sure there are no outstanding technical issues open before moving a customer to a different shop. If however, this is done by mistake there is a workaround to be done.
- Contact the shop that the customer was previously assigned to.
- Get the shop to close the pending technical issue.
- Open a new technical issue in the customer's newly assigned shop and proceed to resolve
To summarise, any technical issue raised must be opened and resolved in the same shop.
