These actions can be performed by the following group of users:

A. Linking payments to a customer
When trying to link payments in pulse 2.0 you have to pass the following steps:
Go to nine dots and then choose the payment option
Filter according to different conditions, You can filter by Serial number, Customer name, Sender phone, Amount, Transaction time, Provider, and Provider Transaction Reference, After adding the preferred filter click on the Update Form button.
3. Select the payment you want to link with the customer account. On the right side, you will have two options Match or Void the payment and click the match button to proceed with linking payment.
Note: The payment status should be unmatched in case you want to link it.
4. User can choose either the customer name, account ID, phone number, or serial number of the customer you want to link payment to.
5. When you enter one of the above options you will see the information of the customer under.
Only active customers can be matched to the unmatched payment.
If you attempt to link the payment to an “INACTIVE” customer there is no information listed and the Save button will be disabled.
6. You will get a notification message that you are about to match the payment of the user, asking you if you are sure of matching or linking the payment.
If yes choose to confirm. If not choose to cancel.
7. The status of the payment will change to Matched after saving. In that case, this means that the payment is linked to that given customer. The Refund button will be added on the top right once the payments have been matched.
Upon successfully matching the payment to the customer account, users can click on the associated account link within the payment page to access the customer account screen.
B. Unlinking payments to a customer
When trying to unlink payments in pulse 2.0 you have to pass through the same process as the one for linking payments and do some changes.
Go to nine dots and then choose the payment option
Filter according to different conditions, You can filter by Customer name, Sender phone, Amount, Transaction time, Provider, and Provider Transaction Reference, After adding the preferred filter click on the update form button.
3. Select the payment you want to unlink with the customer account. On the upper right side, you will have three options to Unmatch, Refund, or Void the payment and click Unmatch to proceed with unlinking the payment.
Note: The payment status should be in matched status in case you want to unlink a payment.
4. Upon clicking Unmatch button, there will be a pop-up notification message stating that you are about to unmatch a payment and it may potentially disable the customer’s device.
5. By confirming the payment will be unlinked from the customer
Note : Payments shouldn't become mismatched when an account becomes inactive as a result of contract cancellation or repossession.
