Home Creating an Organisation

  1. When you click on the Organisation Module you will be able to see all BBOXXs Organisational Units(Hub and Shops)

2. The Organisation module is mainly used for viewing purposes to be able to see BBOXX’s organisational structure. If you want to create a new unit you will need to:

  • Click to Create from Template sub-Module:

3. This screen will then appear on your page. You need to fill out most fields including the other tabs. Please see the example below:

  • You will put the Name, after putting the template the Shop Number and code will be shown automatically. 

  • Select a Template that will be used (Distribution Center, Hub or Shop).

  • Select a Type of organisation unit.

  • Select Parent OU

  • Select Parent location: This depends on the region by which the shop will be located in.


  • Add the AD Distinguished Name from Active directory only provided by the IT support team: This needs to be filled out correctly as this is what is used to link the shop in ERP to the Active Directory system. The AD Distinguished name should be written in the following format.

    OU=[Shop],OU=[Hub],OU=[Country],DC=bboxx,DC=co,DC=uk

    Example - OU=Rongo,OU=Homa Bay Hub,OU=Kenya,DC=bboxx,DC=co,DC=uk

  • Sequencer and  Internal locations will be created automatically 

  • Verify LDAP: Once you have finished filling out the previous part of the form you will need to verify LDAP first and ready the message carefully.

  • Press Create Org button and it's done. 

NB: Never delete an organisation unit after the creation nor changing the name: This cause issues on the internal location on the stock move tool module. in case it happens please contact the IT support team for help.
