How to Create or Edit Bonus

Bonus and bundles are rewards offered to customers who make larger payments. In order to promote larger and earlier payments, it is advisable to provide "bonus bundles" as incentives. For instance, you can offer a promotion such as "buy x days and receive an additional x day for free.

The following roles can create new bonuses:

  • Admin

The list should display the following:

  1. Bonus Name

  2. Trigger

  3. Reward

  4. Type

  5. Creation Date

  6. Start Date

  7. End Date

  8. Priority

  9. Status (Available/Unavailable)

  10. Created by

Process of creating a bonus

  1. Go to nine dots > Bonus configuration.

2. Click create bonus.

3. Fill up the fields
Bonus name: Your desired name of the bonus campaign

Trigger amount (days): To activate the bundle, the customer needs to purchase a certain number of days. The exact number of days can be calculated by multiplying the desired number of weeks by 7. The calculation of seconds is done automatically.

Reward amount (days): The reward amount refers to the number of free days that the customer receives upon earning the bundle.

Bonus type:

Cash discount: This is a bonus that acts as a payment, However, reduces outstanding balance, and generates on time.
On-time: This is a bonus that generates on time and does not reduce the balance.

Start date & end date: Date when bonus stats and when it ends

Select reason: Bonus reasons

If a payment is unmatched, the bonus will be voided.

Bonuses don’t multiply - the max bonus is the max bonus. For example, if the max bonus is “buy 30 days, get 2 days free,” and a customer buys 60 days, they still only get 2 days free

 

To edit Bonus

  • Click the Bonus that needs to be updated from the Bonus list.

  • You will be directed to the Bonus details page. In the upper left corner, select the "Edit" option to update the existing Bonus.

  • Once the updating is complete, click the Save button, and a confirmation message will appear. If everything is fine, click confirm; otherwise, click cancel to continue modifying.

The updated bonus will only affect new payments and not bonus already given
