An Installation can be unsuccessful for many reason such as :

  • The customer might no longer wish to buy

  • The customer might get a different CU to the the one assigned to him during the assignation of stock

The shop manager have to record the attempt on Pulse

  • Select Unsuccessful as the installation wasn't successful and also choose one of the reason why it wasn't.

  • Fill the details of that technician who failed to install for the customer then click Save.

Recording the unsuccessful installation in PULSE is useful as it will:

  • It helps the shop manager when tracking technician actions.

  • It helps the shops plan their actions better, If the technician have failed to install a customer on multiple occasions, the shop manager need to have a track of this so that he or she can know what best to do next.

An installation also can be recorded as unsuccessful even if it was successful at the customers house once the assigned stock to the customer ex: Control Unit (Serial Number) is different from the one installed.

In this case: The shop manager should record the installation as unsuccessful and precise the reason why it was not.

what will happen is that :

  • The stock assigned to the customer will be removed to him

  • The shop manager would have to restart and assign the right stock to the customer and record the installation with the right Control unit (Serial Number).

The Shop Manager will be able to see and access easily on the Home Page > Installation , pending actions or customers that haven't completed their installation .

3. Choose Upgrade in the Action Menu .

  • Searching the Customer can be done using Customer name, Customer ID or Phone number.

  • And other steps are same as above (1 & 2).
